The Carrera S take the performance up a notch with a 355-horsepower, 3.8-liter flat-six that accelerates the car from 0-60-mph time to 4.6 seconds (factory time). The Carrera 4 and 4S features Porsche's all-wheel-drive system for increased traction, with a torque split is just five percent to the front in normal running, rising to a maximum of 40 percent if rear traction is under duress. The C4 and C4S gain a wider flared rear wheel arches for wider tires, which also gives the car a more aggressive appearance. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) varies damper settings according to speed and driving style and also lowers the car's ride height by 0.4 inch. The Sport Chrono Package Plus system enhances engine response to pedal thrusts, utilizes PASM to stiffen the vehicle's suspension configuration, and employs PSM at the push of the "Sport" button located on the center console.
