The Porsche 944 model is known in the Porsche world for it's driving comfort, great car control and balance, as well as being economical in the Porsche range of models. In 1989, the 944 S2 was introduced, powered by a larger normally aspirated, 3.0L 4-cylinder engine with 16-valve dual-overhead-cam producing 208 hp . The 944 S2 also received a revised transmission and gearing to better suit the 3.0 L engine. The 944 S2 had the same rounded nose and a rear valance found on the Turbo model. Quoted performance figures included a 0–60 mph acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. In 1990, Porsche introduced the 944 S2 Cabriolet, the first 944 to feature a convertible body style. The top is power operated. Porsche produced 3,938 of the 944 S2 cars.

This car is very clean and in very good condition, with only normal aging and wear. Mechanically the car runs and drives very well. Recent A/C servicing for cold air. New front Michelin tires, rear tires are 3 years old (lots of tire life remaining). Exterior is very good with only minor stone chips and other marks, the normal wear. The interior is very good with no major cracks in the dash. Seats are leather with power and manual functions. No odd smells. This would be a great first time Porsche or a wonderful fun weekend or daily convertible Porsche sports car. Ready to enjoy.
