This 1978 Ferrari has 31,780 miles on the odometer. Just came out of a 20 year ownership. Always garaged during this ownership. A recent engine out service. A good example of Ferrari's classic and pretty 308 GTS. Very nice for a 40 year old car.
Mechanicals
The engine in this 308 GTS, 3.0L V-8, is in stock condition. A recent engine out service work includes, valve adjustment, new timing belts, belt rollers, accessory belts, water pump, oil and transmission new pan gaskets, recondition weber carburetors, replace aged hoses, and changed all fluids. The 5 speed transmission shifts great and clutch has good pressure. Good brakes.
Exterior
Ferrari's classic Rosso Chiano Red. The paint shows nicely, yet does have some blemishes. Repainted more than 20 years ago, and it still looks good. A good #3 condition (out of 5). Glass in excellent condition. Wheels in excellent condition, meter size. All lights work and in great condition. Tires are older and should be replaced. Leave it up to the next owner to decide what kind of tires or wheels/tires to put on the car.
Interior
Nice and very clean tan leather interior. The seats have been recondition with new leather. Original dash, carpet and door panels. Recent service of working A/C, hopefully it continues to work. All controls work.
Other noteworthy items
Car comes with a complete tool kit, jack set, owners books and service history. Two sets of keys.
